Overview of the Restoration Video School Course

Session 1       Introduction to Restoration – On this video Ed Glaspey explains how restoration came about in his own life and how that birthed Restoration Ministries. He also shares on why there is a need for restoration in our lives today.

Session 2       Who Are We Really Fighting Against? – Ed gives a Biblical perspective on who Satan is and how he works in the lives of believers and non-believers. Although Ed does not believe that there is a demon under every rock, he does teach that Satan is working to keep us from being all that God has called us to be.

Session 3        Taking Thoughts Captive – This teaching is based on 2 Corinthians 10:5 in which Ed shares on how taking thoughts captive can change your life and break the strongholds in our minds. Ed also shares on “Change My Heart ‘O God” and “Controlling Our Tongues”.

Session 4        Prescription for Anxiety and Fear and the Armor of God – All of us at one time have struggled with anxiety or fear. In this teaching Ed shares on where anxiety and fear come from and how to fight back. Why does God tell us to put on the armor of God, and what does it mean? You will learn in this teaching how that applies to our everyday walk.

Session 5        Our Foundations and God’s Plan – Satan’s Scheme – God’s intent for each one of us was to have our parents teach us Biblical foundations as we grew up. Because many of us missed those truths, this session helps us to see why they are important, and how God wants to help us implement these truths into our lives. Ed shares that God has a plan for our lives and how Satan also has a scheme to take us off the path that God has for us.

Session 6        Must Be In the Word and Restoration Drama – Ed teaches on how God uses His Word in our lives. Without spending time in the Word every day you will have a hard time walking in freedom. The drama gives us a picture of how the enemy has been working in our lives to steal from us.

Session 7        Your Concept of God and To Know, Trust, Love, and Serve – Doug Easterday teaches on what our concept of God is and where it comes from. You will learn how it affects our every day life and how we need to spend time getting to know God as He really is.

Session 8        Stirring the Nest – This teaching is based on Deuteronomy 32:11 and uses the example of a mother eagle teaching her young, and how it parallels to how God stirs our nest and teaches us to fly spiritually.

Session 9        Knowing God as Your Father – Not only does Doug share Biblical truths on getting to know God as your father, but he shares his personal stories of how he has come to know God as his father.

Session 10      Where Was God When I Was Hurt? – We have all asked this question of God at one time or another, and in this teaching Doug will share truths that will help to answer this question.

Session 11       Sexual Encounters, Aids and Secret Sin – Do relationships outside of God’s plan affect us physically, emotionally and spiritually? Can we get free of the sexual relationships of our past? Ed shares how we can be free of sexual sin and how secret sin keeps us in bondage.

Session 12      Temptation, Repentance and Unforgiveness – In this teaching you will see how making the right choices leads to freedom. Ed shares on how choosing not to repent or forgive or giving into temptation brings consequences.

Session 13      Forgiveness – Doug shares on forgiveness using a story of his own life about how he forgave someone who hurt his family for many years.

Session 14      Forgiveness Workshop – During this video Doug will walk you through practical steps of forgiveness. You will also learn how to make it a part of your daily walk.

Session 15      Spirit of the World and Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge –Dean Sherman explains what the spirit of the world is, how it affects us, and how not to fall into it. Ed teaches on wisdom, understanding and knowledge, and how God uses these three aspects to help us in our daily walk.

Session 16      Prayer as a Lifestyle and Baptism as Warfare – Ed shares on the importance of praying as a lifestyle. It is one of the tools that God has given us for seeing Him accomplish His will in our lives. As Ed shares about baptism you will see how God uses it to break strongholds in our lives.

Session 17      Religion versus Christianity – In this teaching Ed talks about the difference between religion and relationship with God. All of us to some degree walk in religion. During this teaching you will see what the characteristics are of both and how you can get free of religion and have a deeper relationship with God.

Session 18      Journey Through the Wilderness – Why did God send the Israelites the long way to the Promise Land? How can we avoid wandering around the desert for 40 years? In this teaching Ed shows you how much effect grumbling, complaining, murmuring, and gossip have in our staying in the desert instead of being in the Promise Land.

Session 19      God’s Role for Men and Women – Does the Bible really define men and women’s roles? In this teaching Ed will show you the Biblical roles we should be walking in and how to get back to the proper roles God intended for men and women.

Session 20      Dealing with Lust and Pornography – This session is for men only. Ed shares about his own struggle in this area and how God has set him free. Dan Wallis also shares his testimony.

Session 21      How To Treat A Woman – In this teaching Ed uses his own marriage as an example of how God has taught him to treat his wife.

Session 22      Sexual Abuse and Submission – This session is for women only. Linda Frizzell shares with women about her abuse and how God has set her free. The principles that God has given Linda can apply to physical and emotional abuse as well as sexual abuse. Through personal experience she has learned what Biblical submission is and how important it is for women to understand it and walk in submission.

Session 23      Breaking Shame and Control ­– Jane Akeson shares her testimony about walking in shame and being a controlling woman. As God has set her free, He has given Jane truths that she shares so  that men and women can walk out of shame and control.

Session 24      Church In The 21^st Century – Ed shares on where he believes the church is headed in this next century. He shares on generational sin and how if it is not dealt with, the sin gets worse with each generation.

Session 25      Spiritual Warfare and Cutting Off Bondages – If we are going to be set free and continue to walk in freedom we must live a lifestyle of spiritual warfare. In this teaching Ed will be sharing on different aspects of warfare including tithing and believing in miracles.

Session 26      What Happens After Restoration? – Most people will be asking, “What do I do now?” Ed shares on different areas you can get involved in as God leads you. He shares how God takes us through seasons to prepare us for what He has.

Worship 1 & 2 We believe worship is an important part of the video series. Ed often uses worship when he teaches to prepare our hearts for what God has for us. As you worship let your hearts be taken into His presence where you will find revelation and healing.
